Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro - TIPS TRICKS & HIDDEN FEATURES!

00:00:02 [Music] these are the Samsung Galaxy buds 3 Pro and I've got 25 tips and tricks that'll turn you into a total Pro starting with some gestures so this part of the bud is called the blade and basically there's a little hidden button in each blade that you can do gestures with and I mean it's so simple you just grab the blade with your finger and use your thumb for the gestures so firstly there's a pinch gesture which by now you probably know controls your music but also controls your videos too the pinch gesture also

00:00:35 works if you want to decline or answer any calls then you get the good old double pinch to skip forward a song and you get the triple pinch to go back a song easy then there's also swipe gestures so you can either swipe up or down to increase or decrease the volume and basically just think of this like a volume rocker on your phone but instead you're just swiping on the back of your bud there's also a pinch and hold gesture which works by pressing and holding the back of the bud and this changes the different sound modes

00:01:01 between noise cancellation adaptive and Ambient sound which I'll explain a bit later on by the way all these gestures work on both the left and the right Bud which is really nice cuz you don't need to remember which does which but what I do suggest you guys do is go inside the wearables app then swipe down and select earbud controls in here you'll see right pinch and hold controls change this one to Spotify because this way instead of changing the sound modes now when you pinch and hold on the right butd your

00:01:28 Spotify will open up and actually stop playing some some music inside the case you'll also notice that it's colorcoded with blue and orange and if you take out the buds they're also colorcoded on the tips and have your standard L and r on the blades so basically how I like to remember it is the L in blue is for left and the r in Orange is for right nice and easy but now I want to show you what you can do with these cool new light Strokes so as soon as you open up the buds case you'll notice that they

00:01:59 actually light up but if you take them out the lights will turn off which kind of sucks but if you tap and hold on the back of both blades the lights will actually stay on permanently and they'll stay on the entire time you're using them and will only turn off when you put them back inside the case what's also really cool is inside the wearables app if you go into earbud controls and earbud light controls you can actually change their lighting effects there's three options in total you get blinking

00:02:23 that's a bit intense fade in and out for something a bit more subtle and steady if you want to have them on without any effects but besides just looking cool these lights actually serve a super important purpose and that is if you lose any of them so under the find my earbud section if you tap on ring and select start not only will your butts make a ringing sound but they'll also Flash and make it so much easier for you to find them especially in the dark and what's also really cool about these buds

00:02:50 is you can use them to hear people from very far away but before I show you how to do that here are some secret tricks you should know first now in total there are three secret features you should know about these Galaxy buns first is if you go back inside the wearables app then down to earbud settings in here you'll find something called neck stretch reminders that you should definitely turn on it'll take you through a whole setup where it calibrates your head movements to them and then what the buds will do is if

00:03:20 you're hunched over for longer than 10 minutes it'll actually give you a reminder to fix your posture and stretch your neck I mean you got to admit that's a really cool feature and can definitely help with your posture then for the second feature if you go into your camera app and into settings then inside Advanced video options as long as your Galaxy buds are connected you'll find this 360 audio option which you should turn on and now when you go back into the camera and into video mode you'll

00:03:47 see this 360 mic icon which tells you it's turned on so now in future when you go back and watch some of your videos you'll hear the audio from all around you as real as when you recorded the video wow and for the third feature back in the wearables app under find my earbuds if you tap on more under them make sure to turn on notify when left behind this way if you ever leave the buds outside the case and just walk away you'll get a message on your phone that'll notify you you've left them behind and should probably go back and

00:04:15 fetch them really important to turn this on to make sure you never lose these bad boys so one of the things that make these So Pro is that you can control them with your voice okay this is so cool so back inside your earbud settings under voice control make sure that you turn this on first then there are a few different phrases you can control them with like play music to start playing your music you can say stop music to pause it of course you can also say next song to skip forward or you can say

00:04:48 previous song to skip back I mean that is so not you can even control the volume with volume up to increase and volume down to decrease it you can even use it with phone calls so if you say reject call it'll hang up and you guess that if you say answer call it'll pick it up hello what's also crazy is these voice controls are super Snappy and responsive so I'm just saying you might end up using this way more than you use the gestures okay so I mentioned SES earlier and these Galaxy buds come with three of

00:05:25 them Ambient sound adaptive sound and active noise cancellation with Ambient sound turned on you'll still hear things around you while wearing the buds but with noise cancellation turned on all the noise will be Dr out and basically disappear but what's really cool is you'll notice that when you select these sound modes this volume slider will pop up which you can then adjust the strength of each mode so if you want the best noise cancellation make sure this is cranked all the way to the top because the noise cancellation on these

00:05:52 bad boys is really good then there's this new adaptive mode and before I show you what it does just make sure that voice detect siren detect and use Ambient sound during calls is turned on now how adaptive mode works is let's say you start talking to someone the Galaxy buds will automatically switch to ambient mode so you can hear the entire conversation while the buds dip the music but then if you go into a super noisy environment like somewhere where there construction they'll automatically switch to noise cancellation mode for

00:06:19 you just another little trick that make these so powerful now let's say you're out and about listening to your music but your buds run out of juice or even worse your casee doesn't even have any charge left well on your phone if you swipe down on the Quick Settings panel and toggle on Wireless poers share if you turn your phone over and just place your buds on the back of it your phone will start charging them so if you ever run out of juice just put them on the back of your phone for 15 minutes to get about an

00:06:48 hour and a half to 2 hours of playback time you can of course also charge these bad boys if you've got a wireless charging pad just throw them on and they'll charge from 0 to 100% in about 2 hours but to keep a close ey on their battery percent from the home screen if you tap on widgets then tap on battery I suggest you add this select battery widget so you can always see your Bud's battery percent so useful I also really like the sound mode widget which you can add just below the battery widget

00:07:15 because what's so nice is you can also just change the sound modes right from here and if you wanted to take it one step further on the lock screen if you select widgets and tap on battery you can even add a battery widget right here which of course will also show you how much juice you you got left so I spoke about sound modes earlier like noise cancellation for example but these bad boys also come with listening modes so if you go into your phone settings then sound and vibration and sound quality and effects

00:07:46 in here toggle on Dolby Atmos then tap on it and change to movie mode cuz what this does is makes the movies or videos you watch sound like Cinema quality you can also switch to music mode instead which will make your music sound better by giving it a bit more bass and making it a bit louder and for the third listing mode back inside the wearables app under earbud settings if you selected labs in here you get gaming mode which basically gives the Galaxy buds a super Snappy connection to your phone so you can react to sounds much

00:08:14 quicker but what make these so proo is you can actually customize them based on how you hear let me show you what I mean okay so to do this you'll have to go back into your settings then back into sound and vibration then scroll down to sound quality and effects and in here toggle on adapt sound once you tap on this you can then choose to have a custom sound profile just for you it'll run you through a whole sound test where you listen to different beeping sounds it doesn't take much longer than a

00:08:44 minute and once that's done your Galaxy buds will be perfectly customized just for your ears so cool then inside the wearables app again and earbud settings one more thing you should turn on here is read notifications allow you can choose to turn this on for each app or just one WhatsApp for example and with it turned on every time you get a message your buts will read it out for you George did you know that Samsung means three stars in Korean but now to show you how to use these to listen to people from far away okay so all you

00:09:14 have to do is inside settings if you go into accessibility then into hearing enhancements and turn on amplify Ambient sound as soon as you do that you'll notice this little accessibility icon appear and once you tap that it's turned on you'll then notice that you can hear everything your phone microphone can hear so let's say you leave your phone by someone and just walk away you'll actually be able to listen in on everything they say without them even knowing sneaky so now that you know these 25 tips and tricks you should be a

00:09:43 total pro at using the Galaxy buds 3 Pro so make sure you subscribe and I'll see you in the next one toodles
